I love how the media starts instilling fear in the public days in advance for a hurricane. Most of the time they show the path going straight for Louisiana so that people will pay attention because of our past. They do this so you’ll keep obsessively watching there updates or returning to their website. Therefore improving there ratings and making them money while increasing your fear and panic making you rush out and buy stuff to “be prepared” in-turn boosting the local economy. When in actuality, no one can predict where these storms are gonna go or what they are going to do….but tune in and keep watching for up-to-the-minute coverage from your local hurricane headquarters! Ridiculous.
